Dogs can be depressive too
When we take a look at dogs, they always seem so happy and cheerful. It is in their nature to behave like that, because they are one of our best friends.
Still we often forget that dogs have feelings too, and that they can also be depressive or sad sometimes.
There are plenty of reasons why they can be unhappy or depressive and one of them is busy schedule of their owner.
For example when you have an owner that is busy all the time, they can often be very nervous and tense because of it, and dogs feel that too, especially if their owner is constantly frustrated.
So when that happens dogs tend to be very exhausted because they cannot handle the pressure.
There are some studies that show that some dogs use anti-depressants because they became too depressive and anxious. Some of them even bite their own tale or chase their own shadow because they are so scared and frightened that they start acting like crazy animals.
If that happens to your dog, the only thing you can do is give him anti-depressants or some kind of therapy, because only in that way you will be able to keep him under control.
Also some dogs suffer when they are separated from their owner for a long period of time. If you have that problem, and you don’t know how to handle it, you can try with Prozac, because some studies have shown that it helped dogs with their depression and anxiety attacks.
Of course before you do that, consult with your vet.
