Dogs Will Be Dogs
In Arkansas a four-year-old dog was on the loose in the owner’s home. The owner was gone for a while, and, for some reason, the dog decided to tear the entire place apart. The dog chewed up the furniture, included the television, Clothes, food that was left out, and any other item that was near.
The dog then located the owner’s gun and bullets. The dog did not touch the gun but ate the bullets. This caused the dog to relax; some would say this really shot him down.
When the owner came in, he saw the dog lying on the ground and thought he was dead. The man was in relief when he realized the dog was not dead.
The man then saw the disaster of the home. At this point, he wished the dog were dead. The man had to cleanup the entire home, and it took him a very long time. After all of this the man found his gun thrown around, and he realized his bullets were gone.
He searched and searched, but he could not find his bullets. He then heard the dog throwing up and ran to his aid. To his surprise, the dog was throwing up all of the bullets, almost thirty of them. The man was happy, however, that the billets were coming out of the front of the dog and not the back. The dog learned his lesson and never ate anything in the home since the incident. The dog is even afraid to eat its food every night.
