Proper diet for dogs
Dogs become an essential part of our life once we choose to bring home a dog. While saying this, the health of the dog also plays an important role on how the dog will grow up. Here, we give you foods which you can feed your dog to let it have a healthy life.
Bones: Bones are every dog's treat but not all bones are good for the pets. Bones like easily splintered poultry bones are dangerous for dogs, so can beef and pork bones if they are not prepared properly. Bones that are rock hard and shatterproof are the safest bones for dogs.
Water: This is most important for almost all living creatures. Every dog has to have at least an ounce of water for every pound of its body weight. Pooches are talented and they normally regulate their own water intake. If you spot a change in its drinking habits, it would be a wise choice to see your vet as it can be some health related problem. As dogs don't sweat out electrolyte like humans do, they don't need any special drinks.
Apple: Apple is a powerhouse of nutrients like vitamin A, fiber, polyphenols and many other nutrients. It’s very useful for human being as well for pooches. You must avoid the seed of the apple as it can cause diarrhea.
Ice Cream: Like humans, even dogs like ice cream but as they are lactose intolerant, it would not be good idea to feed them a lot. A spoonful should do the trick for your pooch. Besides ice cream, you can even give your pooch frozen yoghurt.
